First, choose the currency that you want to send. Always keep in mind: The BTC.com wallet supports two different cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. These currencies are not compatible in the same way as you can’t mix euros with dollars in one bank account. Therefore be sure when you want to send or receive funds, you select the corresponding wallet section. You can switch in the Menu with the Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash drop down. Tip: When you see a blue background in the interface, it stands for Bitcoin. When you see the orange background, you are in the Bitcoin Cash section.
You are only able to send Bitcoin / Bitcoin Cash, if you have a positive balance in your wallet in that currency.
We will now use Bitcoin Cash for demonstration.
Go to “Send” in the menu and fill out the Bitcoin Cash address of the recipient and the amount you wish to send. You can send to a Bitcoin address, QR code, or contact.
Next, choose the Transaction fee amount that suits your goals. Choose “Optimal fee” if you want your transaction to go through as fast as possible and you are willing to pay a higher fee. Choose “Low fee” if you have time to wait until your transaction gets picked up and you wish to pay a fee as low as possible.
The following tutorial will show you how to send or receive your first transaction: https://youtu.be/p6Mn-MKghvk
